Clause 1: General Terms

These general terms and conditions are applicable to the activities of all Live Teaching Classes at YEC.

Syarat dan Kondisi umum ini berlaku untuk kegiatan seluruh kelas Live Teaching di YEC.

Clause 2: Definition of Live Teaching Class

Live Teaching classes at YEC are flexible, which means the classes can take place at any time based on an agreement between the trainer and the student. Participants can tell when classes can be held, no later than D-1 before it starts. This is done so that the trainer can prepare the classes, such as material and practice questions.

Kelas Live Teaching di YEC bersifat fleksibel, yang berarti dapat terjadi sewaktu-waktu berdasarkan kesepakatan antara trainer dan siswa. Siswa dapat memberitahu kapan kelas dapat dilaksanakan, paling lambat H-1 sebelum dimulai. Hal ini dilakukan agar trainer dapat mempersiapkan kelas seperti materi dan latihan soal.

Clause 3: Duration

Each Live Teaching Class is to have a duration of 60 minutes with the total duration of 10x meetings, except for the Intensive TOEFL Preparation class and Intensive IELTS Preparation class with a duration of 90 minutes in each meeting.

Setiap Kelas Live Teaching berdurasi 60 menit dengan jumlah frekuensi 10x pertemuan, kecuali kelas Intensive TOEFL Preparation dan Intensive IELTS Preparation dengan durasi 90 menit di setiap pertemuan.

Clause 4: Class Completion

The maximum completion period for the class is as follows:

1. 2 weeks for classes with 1 or 3 meetings.

2. 15 weeks for classes with 5 or 10 meetings.

3. 20 weeks for classes with more than 10 meetings.

The maximum completion period is calculated starting from the date of the first meetings. Participants and trainers are expected to collaborate and manage the schedule effectively to ensure that the class is completed within the time frame stated above. If the class has not been completed within the maximum completion period stated above, the class will be terminated and the remaining meetings will no longer be available.

Maksimal durasi penyelesaian kelas adalah seperti berikut 

1. 2 minggu untuk kelas dengan jumlah pertemuan 1 atau 3. 

2. 15 minggu untuk kelas dengan jumlah pertemuan 5 atau 10. 

3. 30 minggu untuk kelas dengan jumlah pertemuan lebih dari 10. 

Maksimal durasi penyelesaian kelas dihitung sejak pertemuan pertama dimulai. Siswa dan trainer diharapkan saling berkolaborasi agar kelas dapat selesai sesuai ketentuan di atas. Apabila kelas belum selesai akan tetapi sudah melewati maksimal durasi penyelesaian di atas maka kelas akan dinyatakan hangus dan tidak dapat melanjutkan ke pertemuan selanjutnya. 

Clause 5: Medium of Live Teaching

The Live Teaching Classes will provide Zoom as the medium for the class activities. 

Kelas-kelas Live Teaching akan menyediakan Zoom sebagai media untuk aktivitas kelas. 

Clause 6: Punctuality

The Live Teaching Classes will start at their scheduled time. If a student is late, the time of lateness will cut the duration of the meeting. If a student is absent without prior information on the agreed schedule, and the trainer has been waiting on Zoom for a maximum of 30 minutes, then the class is considered to have been carried out or forfeited. If something like this happens, the trainer will share the material in the WA group. The next meeting remains according to the outline.

Kelas Live Teaching akan dimulai sesuai jadwal. Jika siswa terlambat, waktu keterlambatan akan memotong durasi di pertemuan tersebut. Jika siswa tidak hadir tanpa pemberitahuan sebelumnya di jadwal yang telah disepakati, dan trainer sudah menunggu di Zoom selama maksimal 30 menit, maka kelas dianggap telah terlaksana atau hangus. Jika terjadi hal yang demikian, maka trainer tetap memberikan materi di pertemuan tersebut di grup WA. Pertemuan selanjutnya tetap sesuai dengan outline.

Clause 7: Rescheduling the class

Both students and trainers are allowed to reschedule the Live Teaching Class by informing the Class Management maximum 2 (two) hours before the activities of the class at maximum, unless there is a force majeure. Any reschedule request made less than 2 hours before the scheduled class time will result in the session being counted as completed.

Baik siswa maupun trainer diperbolehkan untuk reschedule (menjadwalkan ulang) kelas Live Teaching dengan menginformasikan kepada Class Management maksimal 2 jam sebelum penyelenggaraan kelas, kecuali jika terjadi keadaan kahar. Reschedule yang diajukan kurang dari 2 jam sebelum jadwal kelas akan menyebabkan pertemuan pada hari tersebut tetap dihitung sebagai satu sesi.

Clause 8: Stopping the course earlier

When the students decide to stop participating in the Live Teaching class earlier, no refund will be received by the students. In some cases like long term illness or other forms of force majeure, this can change. In those cases, there will be agreed on a new policy regarding the class reschedule. No refund will be made.

Jika siswa memutuskan untuk menghentikan partisipasi dalam kelas Live Teaching lebih awal, yang bersangkutan tidak akan menerima refund. Dalam kasus tertentu seperti penyakit jangka panjang atau bentuk keadaan kahar lainnya, kebijakan ini dapat berubah. Dalam kasus tersebut, akan ada kebijakan baru terkait penjadwalan ulang kelas. Refund tidak akan dilakukan.

Clause 9: Certificate of Completion

Students will receive a certificate as a sign of completing a live teaching class at YEC, subject to the following requirements:

1. Attend at least 80% of all sessions (8/10 sessions, 4/5 sessions. For classes with 3 sessions, students must attend all sessions).
2. Complete a class review and confirm with Class Management upon completion.

If students do not meet any of the above requirements, a certificate will not be sent.

Siswa akan mendapatkan sertifikat sebagai tanda telah menyelesaikan kelas live teaching di YEC dengan syarat sebagai berikut:

1. Hadir minimal sebanyak 80% dari total pertemuan (hadir di 8/10 pertemuan, 4/5 pertemuan. Untuk kelas dengan total 3 pertemuan, siswa wajib hadir di seluruh pertemuan).
2. Mengisi review kelas dan konfirmasi kepada Class Management setelah menyelesaikan kelas.

Apabila siswa tidak memenuhi salah satu syarat di atas, maka sertifikat tidak dikirimkan.

Clause 10: Recording the class

It is not allowed to record the class with any recording equipment whatsoever. YEC holds the right to remove any participant from the class in progress and/or from overall classes, without a refund, if he/she continues to record after being warned about removal. In case of spreading recorded lesson material via the internet or non-internet, legal action will be taken. The Live Teaching classes will be recorded by YEC only for internal evaluation, promotion, and marketing material of Live Teaching Class.

Tidak diperbolehkan untuk merekam kelas dengan alat perekam apapun. YEC memegang hak untuk mengeluarkan siswa dari kelas yang berlangsung dan/atau dari kelas yang diikuti secara keseluruhan, tanpa refund, jika yang bersangkutan tetap merekam kelas setelah ditegur. YEC akan mengambil langkah hukum jika siswa menyebarkan video rekaman kelas Live Teaching via internet dan non-internet. Kelas-kelas Live Teaching akan direkam oleh YEC hanya untuk evaluasi internal, promosi, dan pemasaran Kelas Live Teaching.

Clause 11: Ownership of the material

Ownership of all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Live Teaching Classes material, including any documentation and data remains vested in the owner of the Live Teaching Classes which is YEC. All such information shall be held in confidence and may not be disclosed or copied to third parties, without the express written permission of YEC.

Kepemilikan dari semua hak cipta dan hak kekayaan intelektual dalam materi Kelas Live Teaching, termasuk dokumentasi dan data tetap berada di tangan pemilik Kelas Live Teaching yaitu YEC. Semua informasi tersebut harus dijaga kerahasiaannya dan tidak boleh diungkapkan atau disalin ke pihak ketiga, tanpa persetujuan tertulis dari YEC.
